I Castagni is situated in a secluded position in the Monti della Tolfa (Tolfa mountains) with stunning panoramic views as far as Rome and the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Cookery lessons take place in the large farm-house style kitchen which has an open fire, as well as a traditional wood-fired oven.
Meals can be relished al fresco on the terrace, or towards the end of the day around the candlelit dining table.

When not cooking guests can explore the beautiful Maremma countryside on foot or on horseback, meander around the nearby medieval hill town of Tolfa, or relax in the local bagnerello (thermal baths).
